What is sold here

One product in two formats: the digital file of a heraldic plate, and that same plate printed on A3. The drawing is produced by our own engine from a blazon documented in a heraldic source, which is cited on the plate itself.

What a surname coat of arms is, and what it is not

A surname does not by itself grant a right to arms. Arms were granted to a person and pass to their descendants; sharing a surname with the grantee does not make anyone the bearer. What we sell is the representation of a blazon documented against that surname in a heraldic source, and the plate says so.

We do not issue certificates of arms, we do not certify lineages and we do not carry out genealogical research.

Intellectual property

Blazons are historical texts in the public domain, and their source is cited. The drawing that represents them is generated by this site and is our own work. Buying the digital file gives you the right to use and print it for personal use, as many times as you like; it does not transfer ownership of the work nor the right to resell it as your own product.

Law and jurisdiction

Spanish law applies. For consumers, the competent courts are those of their own domicile. Otherwise, the courts of Inca (Mallorca), Spain.
