quarterly, sa. and gu. on a bend ar. betw. two escallops or, a greyhound, courant, betw. two quatrefoils of the second. — Crest, betw. two branches of olive ppr. as many lions heads, erased at the neck, and adossed, erminois, gorged with one collar gu. [ Granted, 2Qth March, 1814, to Edward Pedder, Esq. of Bispham-Lodge, and of Preston, in the County Palatine of Lancaster, to he home hy him and his descendants, and hy his nephew, Edward Pedder, E g. and his two nieces, Catharine and Anne Pedder, spinsters, children of his late brother, James Pedder, late of Preston, aforesaid, Elsq. deceased, and also hy John Pedder, Clerk, Vicar of Garstang-Church- Town, in the said County of Lancaster, the only surviving son of his late uncle, James Pedder, Clerk, Vicar of Garstang-Church-Town, aforesaid, deceased, and which Arms and Crest are now home hy the sons of the said Edward Pedder, the grantee, viz.
